Elevated Gas Levels Found at Canton Business

Officials responded to Route 44 location Friday morning.

Shortly after 10 a.m. Friday Connecticut Natural Gas arrived on scene at 50 Albany Turnpike after fire officials found elevated readings at a karate studio, according to police and fire radio reports. 

Firefighters from the town of Canton volunteer Fire and EMS Department responded to the scene Friday morning after someone at the building reported smelling an odor of gas. Elevated levels were found, according to police and fire reports and Connecticut natural gas and a representative from the Canton fire marshal's office responded.
