Infractions Issued Following Accident Involving Horse Trailer

Police wrap up investigation.

Police have charged two individuals  with infractions following a Feb. 7 accident on Route 44 that involved a horse trailer.

Heather Navarrete, who was traveling westbound on Route 44 with a trailer in tow was found to be at fault and charged with failure to obey a traffic control signal, according to police.

The driver of the other truck, Ryan Yarde, who was traveling south on East Hill Road, was not at fault but was charged with possession of marijuana after the accident, police said.
