Police have charged two individuals with infractions following a Feb. 7 accident on Route 44 that involved a horse trailer.
Heather Navarrete, who was traveling westbound on Route 44 with a trailer in tow was found to be at fault and charged with failure to obey a traffic control signal, according to police.
The driver of the other truck, Ryan Yarde, who was traveling south on East Hill Road, was not at fault but was charged with possession of marijuana after the accident, police said.
The accident, which occurred at approximately 10 a.m., sent the truck and trailer off road but there were no serious injuries — either to the drivers or horse that was in the trailer.
All charges are misdemeanors and involve fines, police said.
