I was recently looking at the work of Henri Cartier-Bresson, one of my favorite photographers, and it occurred to me that photography and blogging have a lot in common.
This quote from Cartier-Bresson sums it up pretty nicely:
“In photography, the smallest thing can be a great subject. The little, human detail can become a Leitmotiv.”
What makes photography so captivating is it's ability to isolate a moment and present it to the world. Photography offers all of us an opportunity to see the world through another person's eyes.
