ACE Hardware Rennovations

ACE Larsen Hardware, a well-known local business, has new plans to expand. Many envision ACE as a small business, as well as convienient. For about 20 years, ACE has been located in the Canton Village, in the same building as many other small businesses such as Head First Hair Design, UPS, followed by another department of ACE. Now, the other business that shared the building have moved out, and new plans are underway. The current building has new plans for a different architectual set-up, along with expanding the current departments in the store. When asked, Fred Larsen Jr. states, "I have reviewed history among other sales, and now we're taking those in to perspective and improving." He also says he believes the expansion will have a positive impact on the company, it will be easier to shop and more employees can be hired. "We're excited, we're growing, customers help." Now although many changes are being made to the company and building, ACE will not be closing whatsoever. Here's how it will work: As the right side of the building is rennovated and modified to the new plans, the left side, which is currently in use, will be open to shop in. As the left side of the building is modified, the right side will be available. However, what are some of the modifications? The new entrance will be more towards the center of the building than where it is now, along with having a more pointed roof over head, shaping it like a tower. There will not be all-new departments, the store is just expanding the ones that already exsist. The items in the store will be moved around, with an all-new set-up for the inside of the store. Other smaller improvements are for the shoppers convienience. For example, the aisles will be bigger and new registers will be installed for checkout. The new expansion will not only have a positive effect on the business, but also on the customers who have helped them grow throughout the years.
