Nancy Richard, 41

As the Canton community mourns the loss of Nancy Richard, who died Friday after a long struggle with cancer, the family wants to thank everyone for their support.

While Richard bravely fought an aggressive cancer, many stepped forward to organize fundraisers, provide transportation for the kids, deliver daily meals, pay tribute on the soccer field, visit her in various facilities and donate costumes so she could realize her dream of seeing her kids act out the Wizard of Oz.

The family would like to express its deep appreciation these and other efforts.
