More than 45 percent of Americans make a resolution every year, according to statisticbrain.com. Some people vow to live a healthier lifestyle, others promise to spend more time with family, and many say they will try to save money.
As millions of Americans make resolutions to improve their lives, what could we do right here in Canton to make it an even better place to live?
Would you put more money into fixing the roads, get the track built in time for next year or tighten the purse strings? Are you anxiously awaiting Wilson's Pub to open its doors? Perhaps you'd like to see more business development on Route 44 or does Canton have just about enough traffic?
It goes without saying that we hope 2013 does not come with the tragic losses we had in 2012.
