Halloween Candy Buyback Near Canton
All Hallow's Eve is behind us but the candy may remain for much longer! Here's info on how to offload extra candy for a cause.
Dentist Mitchell S. Katz's office is collecting Halloween candy as part of a Halloween candy buyback program.
Children will receive $2 for every pound of candy given, up to 5 lbs., according to Katz's website. The buyback will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, at 111 Simsbury Rd., Avon.
The donated candy will benefit Operation Gratitude and will be sent to troops serving overseas. All candy donations are welcome, including leftover candy not handed out.
The Halloween Candy Buyback website lists Mitchell Katz's buyback as the closest one to Canton. If you know of another nearby dentist's office hosting a buyback, let us know in the comments section!
