REPUBLICANS INVITE RESIDENTS TO MEET THE CANDIDATES
Republican Town Committees from Avon, Canton , Farmington and Simsbury invite residents to stop by the Avon Senior Center at 635 West Avon Road between 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 28th, for coffee and donuts with the Republican candidates for U.S. Senate, U.S. House-5th District, State Senate and State House of Representatives.
The event is open to the public and various door prize drawings will be conducted.
All Republican candidates qualified to primary plus those unopposed for the general election have been invited to attend the event. The primary to determine which candidates will appear on the November ballot will take place on August 14th.
"This election is critically important to determine the direction our country and state will take” said Brian Ladouceur, Jr., Chair of the Avon Republican Town Committee. “I hope all voters will stop in to meet our candidates and discuss one-on-one how they will work to improve the economy, grow jobs, address healthcare concerns or any other issue important to you and your family.”
