The Regulators Play Canton!

Celebrate Valentines Day with The Regulators! Some of the best live music around happens right here in town every Friday night at Smokin Spokes, 192 Albany Ave - Route 44 and no cover charge. This Friday brings The Regulators, playing B side covers you forgot how much you loved, songs you didn't know you knew and some surprisingly creative and complex originals.
The Regulators are four veterans of the Connecticut music scene, with a repertoire consisting of roots rock, country and Americana. Their eclectic mix of original and cover material and tight performances have garnered them an ever-growing fan base.
The Regulators repertoire features material by some of the best songwriters active today, whose names may not be familiar, but whose songs you may have heard other artists cover. They want to help spread the word about great songwriters such as Randy Weeks, Bruce Robinson, Jim Lauderdale, Paul Kelly, Buddy & Julie Miller, Shawn Mullins, Kelly Willis, Delbert McClinton, Rodney Crowell, Stephen Bruton, Big Al Anderson, Dave Alvin, Bill Kirchen, Robert Earl Keen and Casey Chambers. Mix that in with their own songs and covers by well know artists such as Bob Dylan, Hank Williams, George Jones, Neil Young, The Bryds, Patsy Cline, Junior Brown, The Traveling Willburys, Lucinda Williams, Robert Cray, The Rolling Stones, John Fogerty, Steve Earl, and The Band add four crack musicians who know how to deliver and you are in for a rockin’ show!
The Regulators are:
Marty Carlson - Guitar/Vocals/Songwriter
Jonathan Lichtig – Drums
Roger Cannavaro – Bass/Vocals
Mark Louis Miller – Guitars/Vocals/Songwriter
