FREE Program: "Get Your Ducks In A Row"

Are you confident in the planning you've done for the future? Are you wondering, "Is all my paperwork in order in case something happens to me?" "I'm thinking of downsizing, but where should I start?" "What can I do, proactively, to financially afford the things I want to do?"

Join us for an informal presnetation on how to "Get Your Ducks In A Row," provided by a panel of professionals who can help you plan and prepare for the future. Each will provide useful information and resources, and will be happy to answer questions.

Presenters include:

Sandee Fleet, Community Liaison for the Farmington Valley VNA, to provide an overview of the in-home nursing and care services available through the non-profit agency;

Sharon Gauthier, RN/MSN, iRNPA, owner of Patient Advocate for You, LLC, a service organization offering assistance with navigating the health care system;

Attorney Neil Kraner, who has practiced estate planning and elder law for more than 20 years;

Nicole Paquette, CFSP, CPC Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer with Carmon Community Funeral Homes, who will explain the benefits of pre-planning for your funeral or cremation, including how to shelter your assets;

Phil Rischall of Family Care Consulting, representing a firm that can take over management of financial responsibilities; and

Regina Sanchez, a dynamic Professional Organizer who will offer tips for "right-sizing" your home;

There is no charge to attend this workshop, but pre-registration is recommended by calling Canton Senior & Social Services at 860.693.5811.
