Saturday Book Conversations: "Caleb's Crossing," at Canton Public Library

A work of historical fiction, Caleb's Crossing, by Geraldine Brooks, is the selection for the January 26 Saturday Book Conversations.Woven around real historical characters and events, this compelling tale takes place in 17th century New England. Written in the form of a diary, it navigates the fragile coexistance of Native Americans and early colonists in Martha's Vineyard and later at Harvard College in Cambridge.
