McLean Memory Care, a top-rated assisted living facility located in Simsbury, will be providing complimentary educational classes entitled Designed Just for Caregivers. The educational series, which will be held in the McLean Healthcare Center, provides insight on specific challenges faced as a caregiver, how to lead a more balanced life, and how to better understand a loved one’s behaviors and respond to their special needs.
The second course of the series, You Need a Partner, is presented by Maggie Francoeur, RN, MSN, CCM on Wednesday, December 5 at 5:00 PM. Each attendee will receive a free copy of the National Institute on Aging’s “Caring for People with Alzheimer’s or Dementia” guidebook.
