McLean Memory Care Complimentary Seminar Series for Caregivers-Coping with the Holidays and How to Celebrate with and Include Your Loved One with Dementia

McLean Memory Care, a top-rated assisted living facility located in Simsbury, will be providing complimentary educational classes entitled Designed Just for Caregivers. The educational series, which will be held in the McLean Healthcare Center, provides insight on specific challenges faced as a caregiver, how to lead a more balanced life, and how to better understand a loved one’s behaviors and respond to their special needs.


The final course in the series, Coping with the Holidays and How to Celebrate with and Include Your Loved One with Dementia, is presented by Terry Holm, Director of Memory Care & Assisted Living Services and will be held on Wednesday, December 19 at 1:00 PM. Each attendee will receive a free copy of the National Institute on Aging’s “Caring for People with Alzheimer’s or Dementia” guidebook.
