This workshop will teach you the basics of yoga and help you feel comfortable joining any class on our schedule. For more advanced students, this workshop will also approach alignment that can help anyone take their practice to a new level. Proper alignment in backbends, forward bends, twists, and standing postures will all be addressed. If you have ever wondered where to put your hands and feet, fingers and toes, this class is for you! Poses we will cover: mountain pose, downward facing dog, plank, cobra, upward facing dog, triangle, warriors 1 and 2 and set up for several balancing positions.
Preregistration recommended. A minimum of five students is necessary to run this class.
