Craft Class: Beaded Votive Holders at Canton Public Library

Looking for a quick holiday gift for friends, or a way to dress up your fireplace mantel or dining room table?  Join two of the Canton Public Library’s resident crafters, Reference Librarian Beth Van Ness and Head of Technical Services Sarah McCusker, for a class on creating knitted, beaded votive candle holders.  The class will be held on Saturday, November 10, at 2:00 PM.

During the session, we will be knitting small wire-and-bead covers that slip over glass votive holders.  They are quick and easy, look far more difficult to make than they actually are, and provide just the right amount of sparkle to your décor.

Materials will be provided.  Basic knitting skills (casting on and the knit stitch) are helpful, but not required.
