December 1, 2012 Canton, CT – Baby Boot Camp, the fitness and nutrition program for new moms, is getting in the holiday spirit of giving by offering a free class to collect toys that will be donated to Gifts of Love in Avon.

The families that are served by Gifts of Love’s programs face a crisis in their lives due to a variety of circumstances. Gifts of Love helps clients meet their families’ most basic needs – a meaningful holiday, food on the table, a winter coat, or a bed to sleep in – and enable them to focus on putting their lives back in order and regaining their independence.

The toy drive class, which is free to the public, will be held on Friday, December 14th from 9-10 am, at Canton Indoor Golf Center.  Class participants should bring an unwrapped toy and can register by emailing Brenda.holian@babybootcamp.com.

“In the spirit of the holiday season I believe that it is important give back to the community,” says owner Brenda Holian, a certified personal trainer with the National Federation of Personal Trainers. “I believe Baby Boot Camp should encourage not just fitness but the strength of a community as a whole.  I chose Gifts of Love because of their dedication to helping families of the Farmington Valley in their greatest time of need.”
