Dogology Celebrating First Anniversary Open House for Customers

Dogology is hosting an open house party for all of their customers and members of the community on Saturday, March 29 (noon to 4:00 pm) at their store in Canton to celebrate their first year in business.

This family-friendly - and dog-friendly - party is an opportunity for the owners of Dogology to thank their customers for making their first year in the Farmington Valley such a wonderful experience.

Joining the team at Dogology that day will be representatives from many of the leading pet food providers whose products are available at the store, including: Stella & Chewy’s; Vital Essentials; Canine Caviar; Nature’s Variety, Nature’s Logic; Carna4, and Connecticut-based Bravo! All of these companies will have free product samples available for customers.

Local businesses that will be on hand for the open house include: Oma’s Pride/Miller Foods; Simply Gourmet with Scoops frozen yogurt for dogs; Baker’s Dozen Dog Treats; Progressive Animal Wellness; Kessler Kennel Farms; Doggie Do’s of Avon; Home Sweet Home Pet Care Services; Tails 2 Trails; and more.

There will be raffles throughout the day with prizes worth hundreds of dollars, including the opportunity to win a dog training package with Dogology’s award-winning trainer and co-owner Ben Braunstein. All of the money raised from the raffles will go directly to support the Pet Food Pantry maintained by Dogology, which is the only no-cost pet food pantry in the Farmington Valley.

Additionally, all customers will receive 12% off their retail store purchases that day (training services are not included), to celebrate the 12 months the store has been open.

Finally, everyone who makes a purchase at the store on Saturday, March 29 will receive a red envelope with a secret gift inside that can be redeemed any time during the month of April 2014 at Dogology in Canton.

Dogology is located at 166 Albany Turnpike, in Canton, Conn. (at the back of the Canton Green plaza – behind the “Pink House”). Dogology’s First Anniversary open house celebration is Saturday, March 29 starting at noon.
