A Soul Spectacular featuring Cracked Ice & The Mighty Soul Drivers

It's another Soul Spectacular at Bridge Street Live when Cracked Ice, NYC's finest Soul/Blues band follows a set from The Mighty Soul Drivers, CT's keepers of the Memphis Soul flame!
Cracked Ice is a band of New York City area musicians who regularly perform on national television, on gold and platinum albums, and in sold-out concert and stadium tours. Musicians who are consummate music industry insiders, the ringers who are called in whenever the music has to be perfection. At the same time, these are musicians who love to play nightclubs, concerts and parties, because live music is and will always be the band’s raison d’etre.
The group is led by saxophonist, composer, and producer Crispin Cioe, founding member of The Uptown Horns, who has toured and performed with the Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles, and played on hit records with James Brown, The J. Geils Band and James Montgomery. Cracked Ice plays deep groovin' R&B - classic Soul tunes plus their own tunes that sound like they could have been classic Soul tunes. With multiple vocalists and roaring brass, Cracked Ice delivers the groove!
------
CT's own Mighty Soul Drivers bring the classic Soul sounds of Memphis, Muscle Shoals, and points South to the hills of New England. The Mighty Soul Drivers take their inspiration from the giants of Southern Soul - O.V. Wright, Percy Sledge, Otis Redding, and more, and combine that with contemporary tunes written in the classic style. The Mighty Soul Drivers turn every venue they play into a Soul dance party! The Mighty Soul Drivers have just release 'Qualified!', their debut CD - you can expect to hear most of that CD performed live at Bridge Street!
