Town Offers Friday Blood Pressure Clinics

EMTs continue Friday service.

After funding for Friday Blood Pressure Screenings was cut from the town's 2012-2013 budget, the Canton Volunteer Fire and EMS Department volunteered to help fill the gap.

"We're very happy to see it continue and we appreciate their service," said Gail Kassel, who came to the community center Friday. Like many other seniors, she walks the hallways of the community center and periodically gets her pressure checked.

"It gives us piece of mind to know what's going on with our blood pressure," she said.
