Summer Concert Series Concludes With 'Fat Dog'

Experienced rock musicians reunite for show.

The Canton Parks and Recreation Summer Concert Series concludes tonight with a performance from Fat Dog.

Fat Dog is a group of seasoned professional musicians that was a popular CT rock band in the early 70's. This one night performance of the band is somewhat of a reunion for the group, which have all moved on to various east coast areas but all still are heavily involved in music and entertainment. The group consists of Frank Morgan on guitar and vocals, Frank Vilardi on drums, who is the drummer for the Bacon Brothers Band, Bill Walker on bass, and Lowell Perlman on lead guitar and vocals. Tonights show will have a classic rock flare with elements of blues, americana, and country.

The performance, the last in a 6-week summer concert series, will be at Mills Pond Park from 630 to 8 p.m.
