Canton Students Arrive in Ghana
Participants look to "Be the Change" while in country.
A group of six Canton High School students and teacher Jen Gembala have successfully made it to Ghana, according to a blog post about the trip.
The participants are part of a "Be the Change" club at the school and planned the trip as a way to broaden their horizons and make a difference beyond their own community. Read more about the effort in this previous Patch story and follow the adventure blog for the trip.
