Sonia Plumb Dance Company Presents Watershed Wander

Program takes place Saturday, March 31

The Sonia Plumb Dance Company, in conjunction with the Farmington River Watershed Association, present Watershed Wander, an exploration of how the Farmington River works its way down to Long Island Sound and how animals of the Farmington River live, eat, travel, and rest in water. 

The presentation will combine pictures, stories and creative movement for participants of all ages, and will include exciting excerpts from the Sonia Plumb Dance Company's newest piece, Water Wars, a beautiful and mesmerizing dance that will engage and enthrall audiences of all ages through an artistic and thought-provoking look at water and our relationship to it.

Watershed Wander is sponsored by First Niagara. This event is part of a series of presentations by the Sonia Plumb Dance Company to engage the public in issues related to water and conservation, both locally and globally.  Water Wars will premiere in its entirety in September 2012.
