It will be a busy day in Canton Saturday as numerous events are planned, including the 18th Annual Sam Collins Day. The event, named after the axe manufacturer that launched Collinsville, includes a business expo, food court, community organization booths, live music and more.
Sites include the Canton Volunteer Fire Department Inc. field on Canton Springs Road and downtown Collinsville. The event is dedicated to the late Mark H. Quattro, a community leader who died in June and was a key part of the Sam Collins Day committee. There will be a golf-putting contest to raise funds for the Mark H.
