A rush-hour accident on Route 44 in the vicinity of in Canton resulted in no significant injuries but did cause some traffic headaches Friday evening, police said.
The crash took place at approximately 5:30 p.m. Friday. Members of the town of Canton Volunteer Fire and EMS Department were on scene for approximately 45 minutes. The cars involved were towed from the scene.
Westbound traffic was slowed significantly during the incident.
