Minor damage and strong winds are possible this afternoon and tonight as stronger winds move into the area, according to the National Weather Service.
As a result of low pressure to the west, a cold front will pass through the area, preceded by the high winds, according to a National Weather Service wind advisory.
This afternoon southerly winds will be around 18 miles per hour, with gusts up to 33 miles per hour. Tonight, there is a chance of thunderstroms and patchy fog, with wind gusts as high "as 41 miles per hour," the forecast states.
