There were no serious injuries from a two-car accident at Route 44 and East Hill Road shortly after 10:30 a.m. Friday morning, police said.
One vehicle was traveling south on East Hill to Route 44 and the other east on Route 44 when they collided in the intersection, police said.
One vehicle spun around while the other careened off the road and hit some bushes and a sign at the corner of the East Hill and Route 44. The town of Canton Volunteer Fire and EMS Department cut the bushes to help the driver out of the car, police said.
One east-bound lane on Route 44 was closed for a short time and both vehicles were towed but neither driver required hospitalization, police added.
