Fundraiser to Help Family of Late Michael Smith

Wednesday night Dish n' Dat will host a fundraiser for the family of Michael T. Smith, the 28-year-old Canton resident who died unexpectedly on Sept. 26, 2012. 

Smith was a well-known area chef and worked at many restaurants including Village Cafe, Husk and Dish n' Dat. He was also an avid mechanic and car enthusiast and a past member of the town of Canton Volunteer Fire and EMS Department. 

For everyone who brings in a special coupon Wednesday night, Oct. 10, 2012 between 4 and 10 p.m. the restaurant will give 20 percent of food bills to the family. Takeout orders will be honored as well.
