For the second year, the Dusky Dolphin Swim Team finished second in the Farmington Valley Summer Swim League.
The team competes in several age groups against other area teams. This year, swimmers broke 33 team records. The team also had several champions and triple winners.
"It is due to every dusky listening and having the guts to give it his or her all as well as the courage to try that new event right at the end of the season that we accomplished what we did," head coach Gretchen Wierdsma wrote to participants.
Patch caught up with the 8 and under competitors at their championship meet at Sycamore Hill Pools in Avon and is including several photographs from the event.
