David Leff: Hidden in Plain Sight Program and Hike

Program to take place at Canton Public Library Saturday, Oct. 6

Collinsville resident and author David Leff will be reading from his new book,Hidden in Plain Sight: A Deep Traveler Explores Connecticut at the Canton Public Library on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 2 p.m. He will sell and sign books and the audience will be invited to participate in a hike by the Farmington River immediately after the program. 

In Hidden in Plain Sight, Leff takes the reader on a tour of the overlooked.  In prose and photographs, he explores the stories behind hidden Connecticut landmarks, gleaned from his many years traversing the state’s back roads for the Department of Environmental Protection.

Leff’s essays and fiction have appeared in newspapers and magazines, and his nonfiction work The Last Undiscovered Place was a Connecticut Book Award finalist.
