Canton School District Announces Summer Extravaganza

More than a dozen courses offered.

With programs in robotics, jazz band, first aid, Spanish, art, ropes course adventures, woodshop, film culture and more, the Canton Public School District has announced its 'Summer Extravaganza' course offerings.

"It's a great opportunity for students to continue their academic learning during the summer, while having fun," assistant superintendent Dr. Jordan Grossman said.

Tuesday night, Grossman told the Board of Education that the program would be self sustaining.

The programs are offered by age group during three sessions. They are open to non-Canton students. For an extra cost, transportation will be provided to those enrolled in Canton Parks and Recreation camps at Mills Pond Park.

On Wednesday, Grossman sent an e-mail to parents about the offerings. For a complete list of the programs, times, cost, enrollment forms and further information, click here
