Canton’s Own Jeff Howard, Andrew Magennis to Be Featured at Tonight’s Concert in the Park

Canton guitarist Jeff Howard and drummer Andrew Magennis will once again join Massachusetts-based Wrba/Weiss on stage tonight — this time in our own "backyard." 

After playing several high-profile shows, including Gathering of the Vibes, the band comes to from 6:30 to 8 p.m. tonight, Thursday, Aug. 9, as part of the Thursday evening summer concert series sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department. 

Howard said he is looking forward to playing and to telling people a little about the band's future. 

"This summer we've made the transition from being a bunch of guys who jam to becoming a real band," he said. "We're all very excited to play in my hometown and unveil the word of our official name: Suitcase Rodeo."
