Canton Residents Turn Out to Support Local Schools

Annual Winter Festival held at Bridge Street Live.

A large crowd of parents and other school supporters came to Bridge Street Live Saturday night for the annual PTO Winter Festival.

The event is a major fundraiser for the parent teacher organizations at Cherry Brook Primary and Canton Intermediate Schools, bringing in some $31,000 last year.

In addition to admission and live and silent auctions at the event, an online auction was again held for about two weeks.
