Ah...teaching kids such good eating habits.

Love it....thanks to all the teachers for everything they do, in and out of the school. This is what makes Canton a great place!

To Wyatt. McDonsld's has plenty of healthy choices

I also think this is a poor choice for Canton schools. I appreciate that a local business person who runs this McDonald's franchise wants to give something back to the community and our children. And I appreciate that teachers took their own time to help with a fundraising event for Cherry Brook school. But the school system should be more selective where it comes to encouraging kids to eat the stuff that McDonald's serves, which can hardly even be called food.

If you like GMO food

This has been a fundraiser in this town for more years than I can remember....so glad to see it continue! The kids love to see their favorite teachers and school personnel working in a different environment. Feel free to find out how much is raised at this fundraiser and pony up the money to the school yourself!

I already pony up PLENTY for the school - haven't you heard of property taxes??? If parents want more than the taxpayers give, then THEY should pay for their OWN kids...crazy idea...parents taking responsibility for their own kids, isn't it?
wendy February 13, 2013 at 10:08 PM
And that is what the parents are doing when attending this fundraiser at McDonalds...paying money to help support the school's extra needs. And since you have made your feelings known about McDonald's...they aren't taking anymore money from you. Seems like it works!

If the parents are really taking responsibility for their own kids ,then why are they asking the community to pay even more money for their kids education? It sounds like the parents and school just want even more money from the taxpayers.

Hey Wyatt, Maybe you should consider a therapist, or anger management. Just a thought!

Hi folks. Please keep this discussion to the issue.

Such class. Leave it to the topic which is helping the schools and the kids are excited to see their teachers in a different light. Healthy choice are just that a CHOICE!
Wyatt February 14, 2013 at 05:46 PM
@Shirley. Thank you for the kind and polite suggestion. However, I'd prefer an answer of why parents think the taxpayers should fund their kids' education and then ask for even more money from the public.

Thank you McDonald's and thank you teachers!
