Canton Photo of the Day: Resident Steps Out for MS Taste of Hope

Renee DiNino, host of the afternoon show at The River 105.9, poses with Emily Oglesby, an assistant at Barnum Financial Group, and James Martin, financial advisor at Barnum Financial Group.

The trio attended the 2013 Greater HartfordMS Taste of Hope, which was held March 13 at The Society Room in Hartford. Oglesby, who lives in Canton, knows firsthand of the effects of multiple sclerosis. A close family member was diagnosed with MS when Oglesby was a child. DiNino, who lives in Wethersfield, served as honorary chair for the taste event. She and her band, Mermaid Martini, performed for the more than 250 guests attending. The event raise almost $17,000.
