The recent 21st annual Lobster Loop netted approximately $9,000 for the Parent Teacher Organization, said Ann Bonini, who co-chaired the event.
Due to rising costs, the amount is slightly less than the organization raised last year, but participation was up slightly, with 507 runners.
For the second year, Michael LeDuc, 20 of Canton was the overall winner with a time of 16:20.
Annmarie Tuxbury, 18, of New Hartford was the first-place female with a time of 18:22.
Funds raised from the event pay for items outside of the school's budget, including technology-related purchases, field trips and guest speakers.
