Canton Historical Museum Preparing for Gallery of Trees

Gala on Nov. 17 kicks off festive fundraiser

The Canton Historical Museum will hold its annual Gallery of Trees for three weeks beginning Saturday, Nov. 17 and running through Sunday, Dec. 9. For the fourth year, decorated trees donated by local businesses, associations and individuals will be on display throughout the Museum. Admission to the Museum, open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. is free during this time.

On the evening of the 17th, an Opening Gala will take place from 7 to 9:30 p.m. with refreshments at the museum, 11 Front St, Collinsville. Tickets to the Gala can be purchased in advance at the museum, at the door on the night of the event, or by calling 860-693-2012.

The Gallery of Trees is sponsored in part by Collinsville Savings Society and Union Savings Bank’s Canton branch. All proceeds benefit the Canton Historical Museum Building Fund.
