Canton Chamber of Commerce Unveils New Mission Statement, Logo and Focus

The Canton Chamber of Commerce formally introduced a new mission statement, logo and branding at the organization's annual kick-off party Thursday night. 

During the event, held at the Canton Barn, Eduardo Barrios, strategic planning committee chair, introduced the new mission statement: "The mission of the Canton Chamber of Commerce is to Advocate for its members and Advance their Success."

He also unveiled a new logo and the organization's five revamped committees — advocacy, membership, marketing, outreach and education.

The changes come after the organization polled its members, held focus group discussions and looked at the practices of other chambers. 

"We're here for your business and to help you succeed," Barrios said.

The evening, attended by approximately 150 people, also included a "Taste of the Canton Chamber," with several local food providers offering food and beverages.
