The Jump Zone in Canton had already planned a battle of the bands for Friday night but after the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School decided to turn it into a fundraiser.
"We chose to do this because our hearts go out to the families," said manager Emily Boothroyd, who added that 100 percent of the profits will to those families.
The funds will be donated through St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church.
The event will take place from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21. Admission is $10 and the public is invited.
Featured bands include Equilibrium, consisting of students at Simsbury High School and the Corey Rieman Band, with members from Avon and Farmington High Schools.
