Valentine, Oh my valentine;
    what does that mean to you?
    getting dressed up, shining your shoes,
    A knight in shining armor to your rescue?
Bunny slippers and your flannel pajamas,
    a blanket, a bucket, a bottle of red wine
    soft lighting, slow music – a promise?
Yellow, white, pink or red,
    any shade of a rose is Love;
    it just might lead you to be a newlywed.
Platinum, silver, or 24 karat gold,
    clarity, cut, color and carat;
    the prism reflection will touch your soul.
A card, a wink of the eye, some chocolate,
    across a crowded dining room,
    saying “I Love You, please pass me a biscuit.”
