I am dedicating this month’s blogging to the Canton Social Services and Senior Services Department.  I met with the Director of Senior Services, Claire Cote one day a few weeks ago; what a dynamic woman she is.  Her budget only goes so far and donations are much needed – Have you thought about the seniors and disabled lately?

Volunteer Drivers Needed:  The Town of Canton Social Services Department in conjunction with Focus on Canton is looking for volunteer drivers for medical transportation purposes to UCONN Hospital, St. Francis Hospital, and Hartford Hospital.  Various days, times and emergency on-call times/positions are available.

If you are over the age of 18, have your own vehicle, a valid State of Connecticut driver license; have patience, and love to drive – please contact the Town of Canton Social Services Director, Claire Cote for further information; 860-693-5811.
