Cherry Brook Garden Club's Annual Plant Sale

The Cherry Brook Garden Club of Canton is hosting its annual plant sale on Sunday, May 4 at the Canton Town Hall parking lot in Collinsville from 8:30-2.  Just in time to get your plant for Mother’s Day! If you've ever admired the plantings around the library or the Roaring Brook Nature Center’s butterfly garden you'll be able to score some of them at the plant sale.  This year we will also have butterfly feeders and children activities. A favorite last year were the Fairy gardens our talented members created which will be back again this year! All plants are dug from our members' gardens so they are all hardy for our growing conditions. There will also be many other garden items for sale such as gently used pots, garden books, and baskets, as well as note cards of local Canton gardens, birdhouses, prints of Collinsville Landmarks and much more!

Proceeds from the event will be used for town beautification projects throughout the year which include the Canton Library gardens, the Canton green and band stand, daffodil planting along the rails to trails paths, maintaining barrel plantings along the Farmington River walkway, maintaining the bluebird houses throughout town, providing holiday wreaths and decorations for town buildings and holiday baskets for our town seniors.
