The Week in Arts and Entertainment: Halloween Snowstorm Recovery

A weekly roundup of events around Canton in art, music, theater, film, dance, comedy and more.

As of this morning, Friday, CL&P reports Canton customers without power at about 50 percent so far after Saturday's unprecedented and untimely snowstorm knocked out almost 100 percent of the town's power. Meanwhile, businesses around Collinsville and along Rt. 44 are among those whose power, heat and Internet have been restored over the last few days.

This week, we're featuring restaurants, music venues and other arts-related businesses around Canton that have reopened and offer a place for neighbors and visitors to gather for a reprieve from the week's challenges, a warm meal and a bit of fun.

Readers: please let us know if we've missed a relevant event or business by using the comments section or sending an email to the writer!
