For owner Mark Bettera Mother's Day brunch is more than a business opportunity. It's also an exciting event.
"You get so many people all dressed up and everything," he said. "It's nice to see."
The restaurant has offered a Mother's Day brunch for some 45 years now.
Some mothers even use it as an excuse to enjoy a Mimosa or Bloody Mary early in the day. In all, it's fun for families.
"I think that's a big deal for people," Bettera said.
LaTrattoria, which was voted the best place to eat on Mother's Day in Canton Patch's weekly poll, will offer the buffet style meal from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 13.
The cost is $26.95 for adults. Children under 10 eat for half price and those 2 and under free.
Highlights include Pelee shrimp, crumble French toast, carved lamb, carved prime rib, dessert and salad. Those Mimosas and Bloody Marys will cost extra but juice and coffee are included.
