Hair Gallery at the Mill to Host Grand Opening for New Collinsville Location

Residents in Collinsville seeking a summer makeover now have another salon option in town. The Hair Gallery at the Mill opened its doors this past weekend, marking the salon’s second location in Connecticut.

The salon, at 101 Main Street across from LaSalle Market, also has a location in Tariffville, at 2 Tunxis Road, Suite 102. 

The gallery is hosting a grand opening for its new location from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, June 8. Guests will have the chance to enter a raffle and win a gift card, plus spin a wheel to win discount vouchers on retail and services like a blow-dry, an eyebrow wax or a haircut, said Emma Schwartz, manager of the Collinsville location. 

Refreshments will also be served, and staff are exploring opportunities to coordinate with local businesses like LaSalle Market & Deli and Francesca’s Wine Bar and Bistro.

Schwartz said The Hair Gallery at the Mill stands out among other local salons because their staff undergoes a six-month mentoring program, and the business is a certified Redken elite salon and offers products under the brand.

“That provides us with education,” she said, “and it just gives us a lot more to offer our clients.”
