Fundraiser For Baby Dominik at Flatbread Tonight

Portion of pizza sales will go to the Day family.

Flatbread Company will host a fundraiser for Baby Dominik tonight (Oct. 3, 2012) from 5 to 9 p.m.

The event is to benefit the Day family as they care for Dominik, the 14-month-old boy left without his parents after Michael Wawrzyniak, 25, shot and killed Beth Day, 24, and then himself in their Simsbury apartment the night of Sept. 18.

To help the Day family, the restaurant will donate a percentage of each pizza sale to the family. Live music will also be featured.

Donations can also be sent to Funds for Dominik, c/o Joanie Day, Collinsville Savings Society, P.O. Box 350, Canton, CT 06019.

Thank you Everyone!!! it was a great turnout. So many people have been touched by the loss and wanted to help. It warmed my heart to see all of the people who have been willing to give their time and money to this family. Both this event and the fundraiser last week. There is still hope for humanity.
