Oktoberfest at the Canton Historical Museum

The Canton Historical Museum will host its first Oktoberfest on Friday, October 5, from 6-9:30 p.m. featuring “Beer, Bands and Brats.” Local beers, including selections from Hooker Brewery, will be on tap and the Canton Lions Club will sell bratwurst, sauerkraut and other German food. Live music will be provided by Jr. Krauss & the Shakes and Sweetheart Mountain. The rain date is Saturday, October 6.

Mugs are on sale for $12 at the Museum and Bahre's Package Store, or by calling 860-306-9310. They can also be purchased for $15 at the door on the night of the event. The mugs are your ticket for admission and include one free drink ticket. Additional tickets for beer and wine will be $3. This event is twenty-one and older only.

Oktoberfest is sponsored in part by Bahre’s Package Store, DentfixExpress and Suburban Sanitation Service. All proceeds benefit the Canton Historical Museum Building Fund.
