Business Address: 310 Albany Turnpike, Canton

Why choose that location? Why start a business in this town?

Mark has been involved in youth sports in the area for years and saw a need for a facility that provided families a place for recreation opportunities. He wanted to create a place in Canton that families could enjoy being active.

What do you do?

Baseball, Basketball, Volleyball Camps and clinics, batting cage rentals, Birthday parties, Court Rentals, Velocity Speed and Agility Training, and Adult Exercise classes.

What are you most proud of about your business?

Mark is most proud that VSC has become a big part of the Canton community in the short time. A key part of his plan was for VSC to integrate into sports and recreation for families in Canton and surrounding towns.

What's something people would find surprising about your business or profession?

I think one of the most surprising things might be the amount of logistics that go into running quality programs. I don’t think a lot of people understand all that has to happen in advance to make a program run without a hitch.

How are you involved in the community?

We help out with community events whenever possible. Recently we sold tickets for the Harlem Wizards Cherry Brook fundraiser we also donate prizes on a weekly basis to local fundraiser auctions plus we work with most of the sports teams in town.
