With expected snow Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013 Canton schools will be closed, Superintendent Kevin Case said.
Senior Center activities, including the Dial-A-Ride bus, are also canceled for the day.
The National Weather Service is predicting 3 to 5 inches of snow today with a wind of 5 to 7 miles per hour.
Tuesday marks the second snow day, the first being last Tuesday, when snow was also on its way.
Up to seven snow/closing days are added to the end of the year. According to Board of Education policy for 2013-2014, if the number of closing days exceeds 7, any additional days will be taken from spring recess, starting with Monday, April 14, 2014.
