Wooden Heads and Poor Nephews

A night of art and live music returns to the Flea Circus in Collinsville from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday night with contributions from members of the local band Poor Nephews.

The popular Farmington Valley rock band will play an acoustic show at the shop, which is located at 101 Main St., Collinsville.

In addition, the store's vault will feature "Wooden Heads," a series of creations by the band's drummer Michael Toti. To create the art, Toti takes found objects that look like faces and uses them as a template to create larger, wooden versions. He then wraps the pieces in foil and adds reused computer parts or other objects to complete each "head."
