Sunday Lecture on War of 1812 at Canton Historical Museum

On Sunday, Jan. 26, the Canton Historical Museum will hold the first of its 2014 Winter Lecture Series at the Museum, 11 Front St., Collinsville at 2 p.m. 

State Historian Walter W. Woodward, who is also Associate Professor of History at Connecticut State University, will speak on Walter W. Woodward - 1812: The War Connecticut Hated.

As State Historian, Mr. Woodward travels all over the state giving lectures such as the one here on Sunday to keep alive the history of Connecticut.  

Admission is $5, $4 for Society members. The Winter Lectures are now held on the 2nd floor of the Museum at 11 Front St. Coffee and refreshments will be served.  For further information call (860) 693-2793 or (860) 693-8893.
